Life After BET:
Christina Mendez's life after BET's Model Search & Rip the Runway has been wonderful. She has been fortune enough to work with some of the top urban designers; Babyphat, Rocawear, Deréon and Apple Bottoms. You can see Christina on their websites while you shop for the latest fashions. Christina says "I absolutely love this gig! I am able to see the new styles before they reach the stores. I love fashion and having the ability to get glammed up in the latest gear seems more like fun than work. While on the shoot, I usually have between 25-35 different clothing changes in a period of 5-6 hours; that includes changing my hair and accessories too."

Although modeling is her passion we are excited to announce, Ms. Mendez has moved into the television and film market. Her appealing personality and luminous smile captured on Lifetime's Matched in Manhattan and on BET's Model Search got her notice by many. It's no surprise to confirm that offers poured down on this star. Christina recently landed a position as Celebrity Interviewer for one of the hottest hip-hop shows "The VIP Section TV". She's interviewed celebrities such as Slim Thug, Jazmine Sullivan, Young Berg, Skillz, Jo De La Rosa, Slade Smiley and many more. Christina is also busy working on her first film which is scheduled to begin filming in October 2008.

Ms. Mendez's comment on this was "I don't ever want to be viewed as a replacement. I respect Tocarra and wish her nothing but success. We are thick girls but there is enough room for all of us."
